Jag har testat en runda på sundet och vad jag har uppmärksammat att Windyn vid 25 knop ligger mer eller mindre helt parallellt betydligt mer trimmad än vad jag brukade göra manuell. Underbart att slippa den kontinuerligt manuella justeringen. De jag har kvar att testa är att spida upp hastigheten på själva ut vinklingen av trimplanen. Allt verkar fungera. Ett superbra hjälpmedel på en helplanande båt som Windy.
Nu har det blivit en hel del körande med Windyn ca 30 timmar. Helt otroligt vad det fungerar utmärkt med denna automatiska trimplans automatik, det är bara att åk. Jag har bara gjort en inställning, därefter ok. Från start så är det som att flyga du lyfter med en förutbestämd vinkel där efter planar båten ut ,( flapsen) trimplanen dras in när du nått marsch fart vilket ger ett minimalt motstånd och samtidigt är helt stabil. Min båt ligger i princip helt rakt från ca 25 knop då den börjar dra ner på motståndet och trimmar in trimplanen. Max farten är nu mer än 40 knop i bra väder , det är alldeles för fort. Nu kan jag även köra på autopilot i hårdare väder vilket innebär mindre sidorörelser på båten.

First off, thanks for the quick note to confirm comparability. There is nothing worse than receiving something that doesn't work when it could have been cleared up with a simple question. I'll let you know how it goes. I found your product with a Google web search. My boat tips easily with movement on board and I hope this will mitigate the problem. I looked at about 6 different products and I decided to buy yours because I felt I had a clear understanding of its capabilities from your website.
I did receive it and I installed it this past Sunday! I could not have picked a better day to do it. The install was a breeze and after a 4 hour test run, I hit lots of wind and chop on the way home....
OMG!!! My boat was sooooo much easier to handle. It was like a different boat! Best $800 bucks I ever spent. As soon as the wind hit, I'd look down at the control panel and see the lights light up and the boat would stay put. The instructions where clear, the product was super high quality, I am very, very, impressed. If you want a raving review, please point me where to write it. Or feel free to use any or all of this message! And if you have anyone who wants to hear me experience first hand, please give them my contact info. I honestly cannot come up with even some small tweak or upgrade as a critique. It's perfect. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and the top notch product!!!

Short version: 
Brilliant!
Longer version: It was straightforward to install. I liked the use of a connector as it made attaching the wires easier than holding a complete unit. My Eltrim port and starboard trim tab cables each have numbered wires 1,2,3,4,and 5. From the information Eltrim supply, I suspected wire 1 was the positive feed and 2 negative. They are! So no need to switch them after verifying the connection.
I used a spot of Locktite Nutlock 234 on the wing nuts on tightening them up as there is no lock washer or other securing nut.
The re-positioned LED on the Auto button must improve it's visibility when pressed; great attention to detail..
Attitude setting was carried out in the Largs Channel (Lat: 55° 45'.822N Lon: 004° 52'.845W) in smooth water. A few runs back and forth to build confidence in the ACS, then a turn round the Little Cumbrae Island (Lat: 55° 42'.892 Lon: 004° 57'.242W) in a Force 4 wind in a choppy cross tidal sea. The ACS vastly improved stability.
I found it remarkable how much better the boat performs with this instrument. Improved stability without fuss, giving more confidence with boat handling and loading. Less concern with crew moving about. This is a very worthwhile piece of kit. I am delighted I fitted it. As I said earlier... Brilliant!

Jag har nu installerat allt och genomfört kalibrering. Tog en premiärtur ikväll. Automatiken fungerar alldeles förträffligt. Båten planar upp väldigt lätt och det går även att ligga på lägre fart och fortfarande plana. Trots att jag har cylindrarna med kortare slaglängd fungerar det utan problem. Har inte haft möjlighet att prova i kraftig sidovind ännu.
Hittills är jag mycket nöjd och jag tror att valet av trimplan och automatik passar väldigt bra till min båttyp.
Det kommer jag att föra vidare till Yamaha center och mina båtbekanta.

Det gikk kjempefint, og den er nå montert på en Ibiza 24 Touring med Lenco Trimplan som ble kjøpt inn samtidig. Funker helt som jeg ønsket da jeg ikke behøver å tenke på den siden den selv justerer seg selv.

Vene: Princess 266 Riviera, Volvo Penta Kad 44, Bennett trimmit. Asennus sujui todella nopeasti, helposti ja ongelmitta. Erittäin suuri plussa ACS:ssä on se ettei erillistä tunnistinta tarvitse asentaa. Käsittääkseni niiden mallien ongelma on se, että ne pitää saada asennettua oikeaan asentoon toimiakseen mikä ei välttämättä ole helppoa.
Ennen kun vanhasta paneelista irroittettiin johdot ne vielä varmuudeksi todettiin/merkattiin siltä varalta ettei värit vastaakkaan ohjeiden oletuksia. Johtojen värit kylläkin täsmäsi ohjeisiin. Laitteen fyysiseen asennukseen meni korkeintaan 10 minuuttia. Ensimmäistäkään uutta johtoa tai reikää ei tarvinnut tehdä. Laite tunnisti ja kalibroi trimmit juuri kuten ohjeissa oli luvattu.
Optimaalisen kulkutason löytäminen oli helpompaa kuin Bennettin omilla säätimillä. Kulkutason tallentantamista ei voisi juuri helpommaksi tehdä. ACS reagoi todella hyvin vaihtuviin olosuhteisiin ja korjaa veneen asennon ripeästi, muttei kuitenkaan ylikompensoi. Eli edestakaisin korjausta en huomannut.
Veneilemme Näsijärvellä ja siellä liikutaan vaihtelevilla nopeuksilla ja 5 minuutin ajon aikana saattaa tuuli käydä kolmesta eri ilmansuunnasta.Eli oleellinen osa veneilyä ennen ACS:ä oli trimmien jatkuva säätäminen. Tunne on nyt vähän vastaava kun oli ostanut ensimmäisen automaattivaihteisen auton.
Erittäin harvoin törmää näin valmiiseen tuotteeseen. En keksi mitään valitettavaa tai paranneltavaa.

I wanted to thank you for arranging the fit of the Mente ACS RP system. Nick Seabridge arranged for Dan Buckingham of C-Line to perform the fit on my boat, on the water at Christchurch on the 15th September, the fit was easy and went pretty much according to plan.
Sorry it has taken this long to let you know how I am getting on with the system but it took till this weekend to get the time, tide and sea conditions right to calibrate the system. We went from Christchurch east to Bucklers Hard on the Beaulieu River on Monday and returned to Christchurch on Tuesday morning. I calibrated the system at a cruising speed of 20 knots. I needed to make a few minor adjustments and then I re-calibrated. The system then coped with the crew changing seating positions. The attitude was just right and the tabs retracted when expected to. On the Tuesday morning we came out of the Beaulieu River turned West to return to home port , we went straight up on the plane with no further adjustments needed.
Next time out I want to take her up to full speed and make sure the boat is still stable. I will experiment with increasing the gain to see what difference the increased reaction time makes.

Jag har en Askeladden C6 Cruiser. Då båten bara är 6.45 meter lång, behöver man trycka ner trimplanen helt vid start för att snabbare komma upp i planing. När man sedan planar behövs trimplanen inte så mycket längre och man får dra upp dem igen. Det blir ganska mycket manuellt reglerande av trimplanen, varför jag ville automatisera detta med Mente-marine ACS. Detta fungerar mycket bra. ACS reagerar snabbt med att trycka ner trimplanen när jag drar på. När båten är uppe i planing efter 7-8 sekunder drar automatiken upp trimplanen igen och reglerar därefter effektivt gångläget. ACS reglerar båten bra även i sidled vid sidovindar eller vid olika viktfördelningar beroende på antal passagerare. Tidigare var det dessutom svårt att hålla båten planande i låga farter under 18 knop. Här hjälper ACS också till, trimplanen trycks ner när man drar av på hastigheten från marschfart och båten planar i lägre farter, ner till 12-14 knop. Detta är mycket bra då det oftast är 12 knops hastighetsbegränsningar i många farvatten.
